Ground Health & Safety Report

 

In the absence of a local disability group the club took advice from FAW regarding Disability guidance and sought a limited inspection for disabled bodied person.


This report is not substantial and is to be used for the purpose of disability access and facilities to the Glasbrook Field.

Access - Parking is available with flat surface, both from Car Park situated some 500 metres or ideally street parking where residential homes exist. Parking is available but not limited to visitors, both outside the ground and at the road at the top of the ground known as Cynon Terrace and Glasbrook Terrace


:- note there are no disabled parking bays available


The ground entrance has a small incline to the main ground facility and can be accessed with care and or assistance and access is via a flat surface for views of the playing area


There are no toilet facilities for Disabled, although access to a toilet can be made with some assistance


Access around the ground is by way of concrete paving stones limited to half of the ground with wheelchair access to the stand front available with some assistance. The ground is equipped with barriers for ease of stability for standing/leaning.


Access to the club café is via flat surface with room to sit at the rear, it is also acknowledged that any hot drinks purchased can be brought to the seated area where wheelchairs can be stored.


Access to the left side of the ground is limited to disabled non wheelchair users, it can be accessed with assistance to uncovered seating on stone base.
